HAPPY NEW YEAR! A V-Dere 2024 in Review
It's 2025 Already?!
In 2023, V-Dere started as a group of friends with a dream to make their fans’ lives just a bit brighter and cuter. Ever since then, so many amazing things have happened for everyone to celebrate together.
Let’s look back fondly at the amazing things the girls accomplished last year!
From various convention attendances in the US and Europe, to releasing their first original song ❤️Heartwave 🌊, many exciting projects finally got to see the light of day.
Countless covers were released, but also some original songs! Did you know that every Gen1 girl now has at least one? 💚Airi started the year with her release of “So Sweet”, an addictive K-pop / Electronic style track that makes you want to dance… or fall for her! In June, 💗Spica released her original song “Interstellar Clouds” after premiering it at the OffKai concert in front of a massive crowd. With a shockingly cute pop sound, no song would fit her better! Later on in the year, she also released “Reflection in the Sea”, a calm acoustic melody that fills your heart with warmth. Finally, 🍑Mozu came out strong with “VICTRIX”. With a unique and powerful concept, Victrix is reminiscent of the intense music from Warhammer 40K. Fun fact: Victrix features lyrics in 3 languages: English, Japanese AND Latin.
Also, all the girls debuted stunning 2nd Outfits complete with a big merchandise release to match! There’s no better adventuring party out there, surely. Speaking of party… The girls also met each other in person for the first time ever! Talk about exciting. And Spica assumed an important role as treasurer of the VSMP this year! Games with other vtubers are always the most fun.
Many conventions greeted V-Dere as guests this year. Spica performed for both the Offkai main stage, and also on AN ACTUAL SHIP? The VFleet concert was certainly an exciting event for everyone involved. V-Dere had the honor of hosting several panels and meet & greets this year, showcasing their charms to full turnout at OffKai and VeXpo, Europe’s first Vtuber convention. Did you see the life-sized cutouts of the girls?
Finally, V-Dere held their first ever auditions in the middle of 2024! Isn’t it about time for something to come of that? 👀
All in all, 2024 was a year filled to the brim with fun events and releases!
However, that doesn’t mean V-Dere will slow down for 2025 and take it easy. If anything, plans for the upcoming year are even greater and grander than before. Please expect more originals, conventions, events and BIG surprises! Overall, V-Dere hopes to carry the excitement, the energy and love the girls felt and received last year into the next year and use these feelings to bring even more joy to their fans!
